Visit the museums...

Grasse has a multitude of museums conveniently located in the historic city center.

The Museum of Provencal Art and History boasts substantial collections that illustrate everyday life in the Provence of times past.
The Villa Musée Jean-Honoré Fragonard is an elegant, late-17th-century mansion that houses the works of celebrated painter Jean-Honoré Fragonard and his descendants.
The Musée de la Marine (Admiral de Grasse Memorial) is dedicated to the life and career of a great seaman: François-Joseph Paul, Count of Grasse.
The Provençal Museum of Costume and Jewelry showcases a colorful collection of Provençal attire and jewelry from the 17th and 18th centuries.

And, of course, the must-see International Perfume Museum devoted to the history of perfume around the world, from Antiquity to today.

For those who enjoy contemporary art, be sure to tour the Espace de l’Art Concret, set within the Château of Mouans-Sartoux. The Donation Albers-Honegger in the same town houses a collection of more than 600 works by major artists unlike any other in France.
