Grasse: Small-group workshop: Centifolia Rose Accords with a Perfume Designer

As part of Pays de Grasse Tourisme’s “Chemins Parfumés” programme, enjoy a unique immersion into the world of fragrance creation. Guided by Hélène, an independent perfumer and creator, who will reveal the fundamentals of olfactory composition, treat yourself to a special interlude with the queen of flowers. This small-group workshop invites you to uncover the secrets of the Centifolia rose and create your own fragrance blend, in an atmosphere of sharing and discovery.

YOUR EXPERIENCE IN STAGES

1. Understanding the fundamentals
Your immersion begins with an introduction to the codes of fine perfumery. You will discover the major olfactory families, exceptional raw materials and the architectural structure of a perfume, from its light top notes to the depth of its base notes, not forgetting the essential concept of an accord.

2. Explore, Formulate & Adjust
Time for sensory experimentation. You will smell and learn to describe the precious molecules that make up the Centifolia Rose accord. Guided step by step by Hélène, you will blend these notes to formulate your first attempts. Together, we will assess the balance and coherence of your blend before adjusting the proportions to achieve perfection in your final version.

3. Enhancement & Final Creation
To add depth and character to your creation, a secondary base note can be added, transforming your simple blend into a complex and sophisticated fragrance. You will leave with your unique creation, presented in an elegant, personalised 50ml bottle.

Scent tip: To preserve your sense of smell and that of the other participants, please do not wear perfume on the day of the workshop.
