Gars
The village is located at the foot of the Gars mountain, is crossed by the Esteron, the wildest river in Europe.
A haven of peace and a source of inspiration, Gars surprises with his houses of medieval origin pressed against each other.
The water is very abundant: a multitude of springs feed the fountains and washhouses of the Roman era.
It is the native land of the famous pedagogue Célestin Freinet.
