Jeanne en Provence is a trademark of the Groupe Arthes, a Grasse-based family company.
Founder Bernard Perrin always firmly believed that fine French fragrances should be put within everyone’s reach. So, in 1978, in Grasse, he decided to open this company with the objective of offering affordable – yet high-quality – French perfumes.
His passion for fine fragrances was handed down from generation to generation and Thibaud, the founder’s son, became CEO of the company in 2008. It was he who had the idea of creating a new brand.
Thus it was that, in 2012, he created Jeanne en Provence, to give consumers a journey of the senses across this fragrant region, all through traditional perfume products at very reasonable prices.
The name of this iconic brand, an embodiment of the Grasse region and, by extension, the Mediterranean, was an easy choice : Following the two other brands from this family firm, Jeanne Arthes and Jeanne d’Urfé, Jeanne en Provence was the next logical step !
Jeanne en Provence takes its inspiration from the natural beauty of Provence, the fragrant hillsides, flower fields, and orchards, creating authentic Provençal products that deliver all the well-being this region has to offer.
Plants and flowers that are considered emblematic of Grasse, Provence, and the Mediterranean were selected to create each line of fragrances and beauty products, honoring the traditional craftsmanship of Provence’s master perfumers.
Since Jeanne en Provence was created, it has continued to entrance the senses with finely crafted products that can be found in more than 200 retail outlets in France and in over 40 countries worldwide.
