Lou Mas d'Apis
The "Lou Mas d'Apis" honey factory, which means "Bee Farm", is a small beekeeping business located in the Grasse hinterland, in the commune of Caille.
Anthony Lucas is a passionate beekeeper.
He works with respect for bees in order to get the best out of them.
Taking advantage of a favourable geographical location, combining a Mediterranean climate and varied terroirs, Provence benefits from exceptional floral biodiversity, offering multiple varieties of honey, each with its own unique character.
Practising transhumance, Anthony's bees benefit from numerous varied flowering periods, ranging from heather to lavender.
In addition to producing honey, his bees also contribute to pollination. The presence of his hives on agricultural land allows the plants grown there to reap the full benefits.
