Escragnolles
Village of the Pre-Alps Grasses, Escragnolles is located below the Napoleon road, on the side of hills, opposite the municipal forest of Briasq, populated by white oaks at the Ubac and holm oaks at the Adret.
Composed of twelve hamlets, each with its own identity, Escragnolles invites you to a timeless discovery, between rural traditions and grandiose landscapes.

The Pare river is the ideal place for sport fishing. It is a privileged place for the search for fossils. Occupied since prehistoric times, there are many remains such as the Claps dolmen or the Castellaras de Cogolin, a dry stone enclosure.
The essentials
Saint-Martin chapel
Located 15 minutes from the hamlet of the Colette, its access is on foot by taking the authentic Napoleon road, the one followed by the emperor himself on March 2, 1815. This particularly well-preserved path is lined with imposing pines and different plants from Provence, such as thyme and rosemary. Probably built in the 16th century, the Saint-Martin chapel still erects its walls at the foot of the Saint-Martin promontory.
