Green Key-labeled establishments
As part of our Destination of Excellence label, we wish to enhance tourism professionals committed to more responsible tourism. The Clef Verte label distinguishes establishments that put in place concrete actions to reduce their environmental impact and offer a more sustainable welcome.

Our daily CSR commitments
As part of our Destination of Excellence approach, the Pays de Grasse Tourist Office is putting in place concrete actions to limit its daily environmental impact.
In our Tourist Information Office, we have implemented waste sorting, favored LED lighting and installed an automatic air conditioning regulation system by thermostat in order to better control our energy consumption. Our office, set up in 2022, also benefits from insulation that meets current standards.
Finally, the maintenance of our spaces is carried out with eco-certified products, for a more environmentally friendly approach.
The ecological commitments of Grasse and the Pays de Grasse
The City of Grasse and the Communauté d’Agglomération du Pays de Grasse (CAPG) are committed to the ecological transition and the preservation of the territory. The City of Grasse carries out actions in favor of the preservation of the environment, the fight against climate change and the restoration of biodiversity, with initiatives around green spaces, biodiversity, energy sobriety and the modernization of public lighting.
At the intermunicipal level, the CAPG has been pursuing an approach committed for several years through the “Territory Committed to Ecological Transition” program. Its actions focus on climate, energy, air quality, resource conservation, biodiversity and the circular economy. The territory also has a Territorial Climate-Air-Energy Plan (PCAET) 2024-2029, which structures the actions carried out in favor of the ecological transition.
These commitments contribute to preserving the quality of life and natural resources of the Pays de Grasse, by encouraging a more sustainable development of the territory and more respectful of its environment.
A preserved natural territory
The Pays de Grasse benefits from a remarkable natural heritage, in particular thanks to the presence of the Regional Natural Park of the Préalpes d’Azur, created in 2012. It extends over 48 municipalities and protects a territory located between Alpine and Mediterranean influences, recognized for the richness of its landscapes, fauna and flora. Several municipalities in the Pays de Grasse, including Grasse, Andon, Caille, Saint-Vallier-de-Thiey or Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, are within its perimeter.
The territory also has several Natura 2000 sites, a European network designed to preserve natural habitats and remarkable species while taking into account human activities. Among them, the Natura 2000 “Préalpes de Grasse” site and that of the “Siagne Gorges” concern several municipalities in the Pays de Grasse.
These natural spaces offer many opportunities for discovery and hiking. They invite everyone to enjoy the territory while adopting the right actions to preserve biodiversity and respect natural environments. A wealth that the Tourist Office wishes to enhance as part of its Destination of Excellence approach.
